Protesters try to storm German, British embassies in Sudan

What they were answering

Frankeh · 130 points

This is outrageous. I just want to grab each one individually and ask them what the fuck they think they're doing.

I was just in Egypt, and the lack of education or any common sense was astounding! I was teaching telecommunications to seemingly technical "professionals." These are the educated middle class citizens mind you. They literally had zero common sense. They were like babies, always needing to be told exactly what to do and how to do it. There was no deductive reasoning, no self reliance, and no grasping of the concepts on their own. Then, when the conversations turned to religion, some even supported death for apostasy... I've taught in many many countries all over the world, but never have I seen the level of dangerous stupidity and ignorance that I saw in Egypt. Now imagine non professionals with zero education, and that's what makes up these mobs.

Replying to Toned_F · >a US led military strike on Iran would destroy every major offensive and defensive Iranian asset within days. You are incredibly misinformed. I don't even know where to begin wit

You completely missed my point. The US navy is irrelevant. If the US was going to strike Iran, their navy would be well out of striking range of Iran's defenses. Then submarine launched ballistic missiles would hit strat

The whole discussion about taxation and fairness is the problem. Look at the majority of comments on here. They are fuming and angry. An idea cannot be passed with anger, but must be brought forth with logic and reasonin

2500 year old ancient Phoenician port destroyed to build skyscrapers

Replying to eraserad · Let me call my buddy who's an expert on 2500 year old ports.

Yeah, definitely seen one of these before. If you look at the markings on the stone over there, you should see a carving of a cat sitting on a throne. This is definitely a fake 2500 year old port. Probably from the 1970'
