Just a room with blood splattered everywhere.

This is my first relevant post to Reddit, but I beleieve it to be legitimately WTF worthy.

So I was working in Fitchburg, WI the other day installing some washers for my job. There was a leak and I needed to get a mop so I started looking around the basement for one. I went down to the storage area which was completely dark. I could just make out the mess on the wall when I found the light switch. after looking around for a corpse, which I did not find, I took some pictures and filmed this for my boss who later called the police, I don't know what happened with it yet. If it is legit blood, I'm guessing that person is pretty dead right now. Not just slightly.

EDIT
Sorry for the long delay. I never did hear back from the police, but what my co-worker said (he's a tech for the company and frequents the property) was he talked to the building manager and they said some tenant had cut off a couple fingers with a circular saw while working on a project down…

What they were answering

actually it's not. veins are just a different color sometimes. the blood inside is slightly darker in color but that doesn't account for the actual color of the vein itself.

u/MisterYouAreSoDumb

"Vein color is determined in large part by the color of venous blood, which is usually dark red (and not blue as is commonly believed) as a result of its low oxygen content... A recent study found the color of blood vessels is determined by the following factors: the scattering and absorption characteristics of skin at different wavelengths, the oxygenation state of blood, which affects its absorption properties, the diameter and the depth of the vessels, and the visual perception process."

But it is though. There are other factors as well, but oxygenation is one of those factors. Perhaps I was oversimplifying for the sake of the discussion. Oxygenated blood is bright red due to oxygenated iron in the red blood cells. The vein color is affected by that, as well as a few other factors.

Put out your beach fires properly, so I don't have to see my 3 year old niece's first day of vacation get ruined. These jerks just covered it with sand.

Replying to Pickledpaws · But it can't put out the fire... in my heart.

That's because the fire in your heart is a Class B. That requires Mountain Dew Code Red sprayed from a My Little Pony spray bottle.
