Well NSI-189 was assessed using both the MARDS and HAM-D-17 scales, and failed to reach clinical significance. However, it did reach clinical significance in the CPFQ (Cognitive and Physical Functioning Questionnaire) and the Symptoms of Depression Questionnaire (SDQ), along with…

Replying to chutney1 · Interesting, digging into IEG expression now. Thank you for the pointer there, not sure I would have stumbled upon this otherwise. Are there any stacks you would recommend to som

I don't really have a proven answer, unfortunately. We are still learning about IEG expression. Perhaps this EAAT2 targeting will prove to be a workable strategy. We are certainly missing some big piece of the picture with long-term tolerance, based on reports from many people ov…

Lion's Mane Mushroom (1:1 extract) or 7,8-Dihydroxyflavone

Replying to killberos · I been on your Lions mane 8:1 extract since last year. While cycling NSI several times since then. I think I was looking for an NSI like effect instead of evaluating it for itself.

Yeah, it's not going to have the same acute effects as NSI-189. However, our new 4-DMA-7,8-DHF is much stronger and has more acute effects. That might be one you are looking for. It should be up soon.

We were one of the first in the world to sell NSI-189 back on Ceretropic. So we did all the lab analysis, including melting point, in our lab. T3 is one that is less stable, that's true.

Replying to DionysianSoul · Last comment sorry, but is it worth reordering another massive stock or is it almost definitely fine - felt like it was very easily above 50*C, I couldn’t stand being in the room f

50*C is hot, but not hot in chemistry terms. It's probably just fine.

NSI-189 Temperature Degradation?

Replying to DionysianSoul · It’s freebase but guessing it’s not a huge diff, the Minocycline is gonna have to be binned though...

Freebase will have a lower thermal decomp temp than the phosphate, but not enough to make a difference in this instance.

Thermal degradation temps would be over 200*C. So I would hope your room was not that! LOL

Replying to DionysianSoul · Paging u/misteryouaresodumb (It’s in the science.bio plastic jars, inside a baggie). The room was incredibly hot though, unbearable to be in there for too long. Max 24 hours.

The thermal degradation temps for NSI-189 are so high, you would never be able to feasibly reach them in a room like that.

They will probably sell off their IP individually once they finally admit Neuralstem's days are over and nobody is coming to buy them outright. I would imagine some company would buy the patent to NSI-189 if the price was right, and develop it for a more limited purpose.

Replying to lord_abbott · Any chance of NRX1074, matey? TeamTLR claim to have it but you know them. The GLYX-13/NRX1074 drugs are very promising stuff for those of us with resistant Anhedonia.

Probably not. That's going to be another one like NSI-189, where the patent holder defends it pretty heavily. There are also no reference standards. So developing methods will be pretty costly.
