What makes Erinamax Vegetarian but not Vegan?

I was wondering what makes Erinamax a vegetarian product and not a vegan product? Should note that I've been vegan for over 10 years. I absolutely love using the Lions Mane 1:1 extract and the 8:1 extract and have been using them for a while now. I wanted to compare the benefits of Erinacine-A in Erinamax but noticed that in the Dietary Information section of the product page it's labeled as 100% vegetarian and not 100% vegan like most of the other ND supplements.

Have you learned anything new regarding helping the digestive tract? I believe gut health is very important.

Absolutely! The gut is crucial for many thing, including mood. Many people, at least in the US, overlook gut health. This is partly why we came out with InfiniGreens. That's a really great greens stack to help with gut health. However, we are also developing an optimized fiber right now. 95% of Americans don't get adequate daily fiber in their diets. That's basically everyone. Fiber is crucial to overall health, and low fiber is also associated with increase instances of bowel cancer. Not all fiber is created equal, though. Everyone just thinks fiber is fiber, but there is non-soluble non-fermentable, non-soluble fermentable (the SolNul in our InfiniGreens is this), soluble non-fermentable, and soluble fermentable. Then each fermentable one varies based on which species of bacteria it feeds. This means that fiber is actually SUPER complex. We are developing the world's most advanced fiber, trying to address the whole picture of fiber-based gut health.
Then we are also developing three different probiotics right now. The first is Akkermansia. Both the live and heat-killed have their own unique benefits, so we are making the first 50/50 blend of live and heat-killed Akkermansia. It will be 10B CFU of live, and 10B TFU of heat-killed. Then we have a core probiotic we are developing that will be a mixture of 6 strains for general health. Then we are making a performance probiotic, with 6 strains that have been shown to increase muscle mass, endurance, and VO2 max. All our strains are going to be in a three stage microencapsulation delivery system, which will not only protect them from heat, making them more stable, but also stomach acids, so they get to where they need to go in the lower GI tract. One of the stages is a prebiotic food for them as well, which will make them colonize the GI tract much better. They are going to be super advanced probiotics!
