Ecklonia Cava Sun Protection Questions

I'm thinking of giving Ecklonia Cava a try for sleep and skin health, but more importantly for the sun UV damage protection. In an interview someone posted of MYASD (Paul) and Dr. Dreher, Paul talked briefly about how Dieckol is like an "off switch" for the sun. He said he was taking 500mg of the Ecklonia Cava when testing it. What I'm wanting to know is, how long does it take before it turns UV damage "off"? Does it work with just 1 dose? If I take it for sleep, will that effect work the next day when I have to go to work and be out in the sun a bit? Is 250mg sufficient, or does it have to be like 350mg, 500mg, etc.? Can it be less (it's a bit costly)? For cost reasons, could I just take it on days I have work, at least once it has built up if it needs to? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, Paul! I am currently taking InfiniGreens, which should help against sun damage; White Jelly Mushroom (1 cap), which should also help I'd assume; CoQsol-CF, which was making me tired but I stopped it and just started again and it isnt making me tired right now, nor is it really giving energy either though, but the Vitamin E over time should help (going to try and replace it with OmegaTAU soon); and Injuv, 1 with my stack and 1 before bed, which I'd also assume helps with sun damage. I also just started Infini-C again because I didn't realize it helped with Collogen Synthesis, so that I'd assume would help a little, especially paired with the White Jelly. I've had that just sitting in a cabinet for a few months or so. All of that, and I want to take Ecklonia Cava on top of it too. If I take 250mg with all of that, how much sun protection do you think all of it would provide? I might stop White Jelly to try Ecklona though, as I only started White Jelly like 2 weeks ago. I can always up to 2 capsules on that as well in the future too though. I do put on sun screen, but sometimes I don't have time to do it so I only have supplements to protect me from the sun

Sunscreen is not ideal, because you have to ensure you get good coverage when you put it on, have to reapply it constantly as it wears off, and there is no good way to know if it has worn off enough to have to reapply.
