amount of powder in capsules do not match serving size?

question regarding making capsules: the amount of powder in capsules for certain noots do not match the label serving size. For example, the tribulus serving size is 500mg, yet there is typically approximately 550mg of powder in the capsule.
I want to lower the dose and take 200-250mg per day -- should I account for the additional powder or keep it simple and just weigh out 200mg?

Oh thank you for clarifying that’s really amazing quality standards and customer service. I definitely did not think that the fillers are added for shits and giggles; I understand their necessity in certain formulations. That is really cool to learn that you add additional amounts to capsules. Does this apply to the tubs of powder as well, including slightly more than 30 grams or 60 grams, for example?

I was more meaning that we didn't formulate up for shits and giggles. Adding more product to things costs us more, so we only do it for practical reasons. Also, yes we do add more to powder jars. There is manufacturing tolerance with our machines that fill powders, too. We buffer up to account for that. It's usually 5%, but sometimes more, depending on how the powder flows.
