1. We already carry an extract of this revered botanical, yet we haven't focused on the volatile fraction of this botanical yet. This time around, we used supercritical CO2 to capture the mind expanding aromatics found in the volatile fraction.
2. The mind expanding aromatics of this botanical activate a class of receptors in our body and brain which under normal circumstances are activated by physical triggers, such as temperature swings.
Mushroom Magic Coffee Latte
Love the effects of Mushroom Magic Coffee but always find yourself reaching for a little bit of milk/creamer and something sweet when mixing it up? Then we've got something interesting for you, Mushroom Magic Coffee Latte! For me I don’t mind the 15 servings, but I don’t like how expensive it is for only 15 servings. ND’s quality is great, but many of their products are already quite up there in expense, so it’s hard to justify also getting this. That’s the only thing preventing me from buying it.

The bulk of the added cost in the lattes is the certified organic coconut powder. The sugar adds some, but it's mostly the coconut. We are using a supplier that works directly with local farmers in Vietnam to ensure it is fair trade and organic. There are a lot of shady players in the coconut industry. I wanted a vegan creamer that worked well with the balance of flavors, and Vietnamese coconut is more delicate than the stronger ones from Thailand. Multiple people on my team who say they hate coconut say they love our lattes, because the flavors go so well together. We could have saved money by using a different base for the cream, but I think the quality is worth it. Of course some people won't really value that the same, so just using our regular Mushroom Magic Matcha/Coffee, then mixing in their own creamer and sweetener, is a good way to go.
Our Mushroom Magic drinks are really the only ones using full doses of high quality mushrooms that actually tell you exactly what you are getting. Everyday Dose doesn't even tell you what forms of mushrooms are in it, or the dose. It also literally tastes like oxidized instant Folgers coffee that a cat has pissed on. No joke, I thought I was being punked when I bought it and made my first cup. It's HORRIBLE tasting! Om uses mycelium grown on oats "mushrooms" for their coffee, and they don't even tell you how much they are putting. It's also just cordyceps and lion's mane, so missing poria and tiger milk. We've tested Om's stuff in the lab as well. It's nowhere near ours as far as actives. Four Sigmatic is gross, and you don't know how much of each mushroom you are getting. They also use mycelium on grain, not fruiting bodies. Most of these mushroom coffees and matchas on the market are sourcing their mushrooms from Aloha Medicinals. They are the absolute WORST for quality. Seriously... Their shit is non-detect whenever we run it in the lab. They sell stuff for super cheap to brands, though. That's why they use them. All our ingredients cost so much more.
