I can understand what OP means when they say 'gimmicky', but for me personally the label gives the vibes of a designer ~~drug~~ blend. Now it comes out pretty cool considering the extensive testings the products go through. So it's both reliable and beautiful. That's what I think.

I'll be honest, I am not objective here. I made all these designs. I've literally made most of the logos and labels for years now, so I am too close to it to really be objective. I certainly don't go for gimmicky. I couldn't really come up with serious taglines this time, so I just made stupid dad jokes for the labels on the drinks. I guess someone could consider those gimmicky. If nothing else, I laugh at them. I am a dad now, so I have settled into the role.

On the other hand, just look at the labels of some gymbro's pop-up pre-workout formulas. That's what I consider gimmicky.

LOL, could you imagine if we did that?!? So silly. I also hate the new trend of intense minimalism. Some brands are so minimalist, you can't tell any product from the next! White bottles with black text and the same color logo on every bottle. It's ridiculous! I like to be able to tell products apart from each other just by a glance, so that's what I design for. You can always spot one of our products from across the room, and you can always tell which one it is by looking at it. I value that. Honestly, I design for myself. If I was not a supplement nerd, I probably wouldn't even be in this industry anymore. Most things we do these days are because I think they are cool, and I want to take them myself. I want other people to buy them so I can fund it all, but it really is all so that I have access to the things I want.
