33M, work from home, go to gym 3x / week, moderately healthy lifestyle, sleep time 1-2AM, alcohol 2-3 times a week (but not to the level of getting drunk).
Noticing my low libido / energy and drive despite exercising, I decided to take TA. Gave a testosterone analysis in October, it was slightly below average.
Started with TA 10% from NootropicsDepot, after taking it for a week I started to have random boners throughout the day (hello, puberty!), also I was much more easily aroused than before. The only negative side effect I noticed is that sometimes it was hard to fall asleep, although I was taking TA first thing in the morning after waking up.
Anyway, after 2 months, subjectively my libido was significantly higher, and also I had a little more energy throughout the day, with only rare lethargic hours here and there.
HOWEVER - after 2 months of TA 10% and good results in the gym (+2-3kg muscle mass) I had another analysis and it was slightly lower than the previous one, which was very weird.

Next, I ordered TA 2%, noticed nothing after a week, started taking 2 per day, and after nearly a month, still not noticing any benefits. So I guess I'll be switching back…

Nobody is going to be able to give you specific answers without seeing the detailed blood testing results. It also needs to be total and free testosterone, along with SHBG. Ideally you would include albumin, estradiol, prolactin, and cortisol as well. You would want your initial test and second test to be done at the same time of the day, with the same amount of sleep the night before. Slightly lower total T is normal, based on natural fluctuations, but your free T could be way higher. What is also slightly lower to you? What are the actual numbers?
