Thx, I can't use those as he has ulcerative colitis and almost everything sets it off. Prescription dog food and tablet is all he can have :/

Ohh, that sucks! Do most people with UC do okay with peanut butter? Maybe you could put the capsules in a little PB and give it to him.
The allometric scaling for dogs is actually pretty easy. They are much smaller, but they have a higher metabolism, so a normal human dose is pretty good for a 15-20lb dog. For my ~16lb dog, I just give them a 200mg L-theanine capsule.
