MK is one of those compounds that I compare any GH increasing supplement to. It's the most acutely active compound at the ghrelin receptor I've ever encountered. Back in the Ceretropic days, when we were beta testing MK-677 formulations, I got more hungry then I've ever been in my life! Everyone working with me in the lab that day got so hungry, we went home and ate everything... I ordered two whole Thai dinners and three appetizers, and I was still hungry! It was insane! This new Cistanche is not that strong, but it's the strongest botanical inducer of hunger I've ever felt. Everyone else that has tried it reports the same. It's as close to natural MK-677 as I've been able to get so far.
