Natrium Health trailblazes a functional drink done right. A scoop of green powder dissolved in a cup of hot water brought a pleasant taste of matcha (green tea) with a savory umami taste. Green tea contains a blend of catechines, theanine, theophylline, and caffeine. The combination of theanine and the methylxanthines work together to improve mental focus combined with a significant calming effect. The relaxation and clear focus are a very sought after effect to increase mental performance. Adding four different full doses of mushroom extract to the mix really potentiates the smooth stimulation to a level far beyond what the matcha base could achieve. 1:1 Cordyceps extract is physically stimulating to me because of the high adenosine content which primes energy production via ATP genesis in the citric acid cycle of cellular mitochondria. 1:1 Lions Mane in combination with the full spectrum Tiger Milk mushroom extract gives me cognitive energy, a mood boost, and memory enhancement from their NGF and BDNF mimicking properties. Thank you for the reply! This is one of the many articles that talk about stevia and its effects on gut health: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6627124/
“Rebaudioside A did, however, alter gut microbiota composition and reduce nucleus accumbens tyrosine hydroxylase and dopamine transporter mRNA levels compared to CTR. (CTR=water in this article)”
I really don’t know much about it but I keep coming across articles exposing stevia related gut microbiome changes.. any thoughts on this? As a consumer I really don’t mind the bitterness because I add my own sweetener (maple syrup)… !

Lots of things affect gut microbiota composition. The mushrooms in the matcha certainly will. Many botanicals do as well. It's just not talked about. If you look at the data on stevia, you can see it does alter the gut microbiota composition. However, it does it POSITIVELY. Read the study I linked. It goes over the other studies, their confounding variables, and the results.
