What's with the moderation lately?

Noticed a few of my posts are being deleted, some threads too. I even sent a modmail in a while ago and it was just ignored.
I'm fine with you deleting my posts but it would be nice to know where I went wrong, instead of just deleting them.
Looking at threads here lately on my Kindle...for some reason when logged out but not on old.reddit, it shows mod deleted posts like (-)deleted and some threads are full of these deleted posts.
ND subreddit never used to be like this.
I have questions and product suggestions or enquiries and I haven't bothered starting any such threads...why spend half an hour making a thread and finding science to back up my hypothesis or suggestion only for it to be deleted with no reason given?

The automod handles most removals based on a bunch of settings, which we have set pretty strict right now. Someone on our team does go through and manually approves them if they are fine, though. I just looked through the mod log, and that person from my team is doing that around 20 times a day. Perhaps she just missed some. I'll speak to her about monitoring the mod mail section a bit more closely. Usually she messages us if she sees something she is not sure of. Admittedly, she hasn't been doing that as much recently, and I just have not had the time to come on Reddit, so some stuff might be falling through the cracks. The past 9 months or so I have not really been on Reddit much. I have not opened my PMs in that 9 months either. That's very unlike me, as I have pretty much answered every message I got for ten years. However, my wife got pregnant 9 months ago, and I have been dealing with a lot preparing for that next chapter in my life, so I decided to pull back from Reddit a lot. Reddit can take up a lot of time, and my mental health is worse the more I am on here, so I just basically stopped. I'll try to be on more often to make sure things are going okay, but I have no idea how the first 6-12 months are going to be after my son is born. I am hoping he is an easy baby that sleeps well, but we will see... Regardless, I'll make sure the people on my team keep up on the modmail side of things.
