Coupon discount not included on the form on the outside of the package

So for those not aware, ND now had to shift to listing the full product prices on the outside of the packages (at least for orders to the EU), which I understand.
I just noticed though, that the coupon discount was not included on that form on my recent order. With full prices listed, the costs at customs get significantly higher and not including the discount makes the customer pay more than he should have to, because it basically lists a higher purchasing price than what was actually payed.
Could any ND staff please comment on this? I really don't mean to complain about the now higher customs costs at every chance, but seeing I payed even more than what was actually necessary does bug me.

I'm not even sure if listing the discount would make a difference because I think the VAT + d u t i e s may have to be paid on the full amount, not the discounted amount. Just like how even the shipping costs are being taxed.
I appreciate you commenting on this and I'm sure "just put the discount on the form" is easier said than done, but at least for Germany you definitely don't have to pay the customs costs on the non-discounted value and I can't imagine this being the case for other EU countries either.
The shipping costs being included in the total order value in the customs calculation is not the same thing at all, because those you actually paid for.

You're right. I have no idea why Shipstation is working like this. It seems to be a thing for everyone using Shipstation, though. There are posts on the forums from 6 years ago that have gone unanswered! It should pull the discounted price, or at least have a discounted line item that trues it up. It doesn't. We are trying to work out a solution.
