Ours is more serotonergic. Affron is more dopaminergic. We did a lot of trials and testing on saffron, and decided to bring a more balanced serotonin one out first. I talked about it on the release thread.

The issue is that some people can react poorly to that serotonin effect. Dopamine is a bit simpler in that regard. Serotonin is one that you have to find that individual balance for your brain chemistry, or you can get side effects. We have been working on a more dopamine heavy saffron for a while, but no joke the entire saffron market seems to be controlled by organized crime. Spain cracked down a bit recently, but it's still difficult to get past these middle men that control access to the farms.

So my plan was to release this balanced serotonin one, then work on the dopamine/sigma-1 version for later. We just ran into sourcing issue, then got sidetracked with all the other projects we are working on. I will circle back with them team on it now, though. We could even bring out Affron ourselves. We got samples and did testing with it. I just wanted to bring out a more unique one of our own, but that might not be possible with the way the saffron market is right now.
