Beta-Ecdysterone - What does 50% mean?

It has been a while since I placed an order and now I'm back in a ND fiend frenzy. I've done my research and decided to pick up Beta-Ecdysterone among others.
I have forgotten what the 50% means. When the label says 500mg is serving size, does this mean I am ingesting 500mg of the substance or 250mg based on the 50% label. Just want to make sure I'm doing it all properly. Sorry if this is dumb question.

Thank you! So if I were to desire 500-750mg of beta-ecdysterone, I should take double of the extract or would that be too much?
I understand other companies claiming to sell ecdysterone are severely underdosed based on your very helpful post on this. I’m wondering if this means that the literature online is based off of those products compared to the true amount of the substance that is in yours.

If you are going for 500mg beta-ecdysterone, taking 2 capsules would deliver that. That's a good strong dose.
