During that first run up, I was doing the math for people how SHIB would be worth more than all other assets on Earth combined if that happened. I was showing them how it was mathematically impossible for SHIB to hit $1. I asked them if it was reasonable that a brand new centrally-controlled ERC20 token with a shiba inu face on it, that doesn't even have its own blockchain, would be worth more than the combined wealth of every nation on the planet. "Yeah man, but the burn rate! Why wouldn't the big holders just burn a trillion here trillion there to drive the price up?" I stopped even trying not long after.
