I think those contents corresponded to the values of the 8 macamides individually, because you can find these same numbers in a Table in that study. So I just took the sum of those 8 values which was equal to 2.997 mg/g. That's 0.3%. But yes, I agree that this would probably be at the very high end of macamide values in maca powder, I guess that because it's air-dried the weight is also already vastly different from just raw maca so that probably pumps up the number as well. Your Macamide content is indeed incredibly high and that's why I already ordered some, keep up the good work at ND 😉.

I've started to use more caution citing papers about content in plants and extracts, as we often find they are nowhere near reality when we actually start testing things in the lab. We jokingly went and got dried parsley from the store to measure the apigenin content, and found much much lower than even the low end of what papers said there was. Maca is another one that in reality everything on the market has much less than what you would expect reading papers. You can see in the paper you linked that this was maca from Tibet. This is not the region any of the maca on the market is from, so it is hard to make determinations of how their numbers apply to what is on the market from Yunnan province or Peru. I think there is some massive variability from region to region and plant to plant.
