Does Pyroglutamic Acid increase Glutamate?

I’ve seen it mentioned that it increases gaba but I’ve seen some folks argue in other subs whether it raises glutamate and I can’t sort it out.
While we’re here, any idea what’s the dose range or max dose?
Any potential downside for L-Pyroglutamic Acid or interactions to be aware of?
Thanks

Fascinating.
I think it’s been really helpful for my anxiety/adhd. That or Agmatine, or both. Trying to pin it down and understand it.
Pyroglutamic acid doesn’t interfere with sleep if I take it late in the day right? I’m assuming since it’s in alcohol defense it is most often taken before bed.

Well the Alcohol Defense has glycine in there to try to counteract that. It might affect some people's sleep, but honestly I have not personally tried it before bed on its own.
