Why artificial colors?

Firstly I'd like to thank the ND team for everything they do, high quality testing, unprecedented reliability and quality, and amazingly fast shipping(literally went from ordered to shipped within 1.5 hours, and received the order in 2 days. Even buying from Amazon they always deliver way ahead of estimated schedule)
That being said it shocked me to see the addition of artificial coloring(Blue 1) for my Apigenin bottle for the pills. I assume this helps them differentiate the pills in sorting in some way? That's the best explanation I can think of, it seems like an entirely useless thing to add and for most of us who are into supplements for health reasons, seems completely counterintuitive seeing as it's linked to all sorts of problems(mental/behavioral especially). I'm a little surprised to say the least coming from ND. I understand the addition of most additives and I know the team works hard to reduce and minimize them, but artificial coloring is a bit much, it's hard enough trying to avoid it in all of our daily foods and such.
Additionally the Sleep Support bottle looks to have colored capsules as well, but I see no colors listed in the ingredients. Is there a reason for…

Yeah I was reading through all of those comments and I do trust your word on things and your team's safety regulations and all that, it's just one thing I'd rather not have in my body no matter the amount, especially on health supplements I use to "heal" the damage that the intake of those exact chemicals cause.
I don't doubt that anoint does nothing to your body but I just don't want it at all if possible. Like one drop of oil in my body won't hurt me but I'd rather have no oil in my body right lmao. It also just looks cheaper IMO. It's like those old school supps or the gas station boner pills or random $80 miracle cure bottles you can only get from a certain website and have cheap plastic looking capsules that hide what's inside. It just doesn't look quality IMO, the ingredient addition or the capsule.
Is it possible to at least add an option to add/remove the color? That way the people who don't care or want the color to differentiate can have it and those that don't want it don't have to ingest it. I know that would add an extra step of complexity but it would be nice to have the option.
As for the sustainability yeah I figured it would be extra cost, and I know glass is overrated but what about just paper mailers? Or some companies use thin plastic bag-like packaging that can hold more product and claims to seal freshness the same, less weight and material than hard…

I can definitely speak to the team about offering an option in regular clear capsules. Anything with caffeine I will want to keep it there, just to prevent confusion causing people to take more than they expected, though.
For the sustainable packaging side, we were working on wax coated paper jars and lids. Kind of like this. We are doing more research on the best way to ensure the seal and stability of the stuff stored in them first. I think we will be able to come up with something that works well.
