After a great response to episode #006 of the In Search of Insight podcast, u/Pretty-Chill and I decided it's time to dig even deeper into the conversation about hormones and supplements, specifically between men and women. In episode #006, we discussed the benefits of testosterone supplementation for both men and women. But now we’re taking it a step further with this question: should men and women treat supplements differently?
Now, it's time to add your questions into the mix. Do you have questions about male and female hormones, supplementation during hormonal changes, and which supplements have the greatest benefits for men vs. women? Post your question in the thread below for a chance to have your question featured in episode #007 of In Search of Insight.
To submit your question, post it as a comment in the thread below. Question submissions close on Thursday, April 21st at 10:00 AM AZ MST. Questions posted after 4/21/22 may still be considered for the Q&A. If your question is selected to be featured in the podcast, Emiel [u/Pretty-Chill]…
What they were answering

They respond differently to medications, so why would someone expect that they respond in the same way with noots? Podcast folks: you are asking the wrong question. The right question would be "how" do they respond differently and what each should consider when choosing nootropic type and dose? Now, an answer to that one would be valuable. But that is the million $$ question. I doubt anybody can answer that truly. Of course many can just throw hypotheses here and there...but having a reliable answer? I would be the first one to be really happy to get an answer, since I carry double X chromosome. And I believe XX to be in the minority in these types of subs. I am tired to hear about how tongkat ali increases testosterone and potency and cistanche is good for sperm quality 😄😂🙂 no offense guys ❤️💜

That's what the podcast will go into, the hows and whys for why they respond differently. This question was more to get people to think about it in general. Many people don't think about biological sex when discussing how certain supplements affect people. This podcast is exactly for people like you, who want to hear more about the other side of the equation.
