This really concerns me, is there any other opinion on this publication? Because I really like tongkat Ali.

The dose used is not clinically relevant. They used 2,000mg/kg in rats. That would be a 322mg/kg dose in humans. That's an average adult male taking 24 GRAMS of tongkat ali. Moreover, they mention that coumarin was found in small amounts in tongkat raw plant and ethyl acetate extracts. Coumarin is found in high amounts in cinnamon, and is cytotoxic at higher doses. We don't stop taking cinnamon altogether because it can be toxic at high doses, do we? Maybe don't go taking 24 grams of cinnamon, like it is probably not a good idea to go taking 24 grams of tongkat, either.
