ND sponsor nootropic studies

I was thinking it would be really cool if ND sponsored some academic studies into how some of these supplements work. I know for a lot of nootropics, there is not a lot of knowledge surrounding the direct mechanism of action. Having further research into this field could help individuals determine optimal dosage.
Has this idea been floated before? If the ND business is booming and very profitable, I think this could be a good way to learn more about these supplements and strengthen confidence in the products. My first idea would be uncovering how tongkat ali works and determining how its affecting hormones over a period of 5 weeks or so.

We will be sponsoring our own studies in the future. However, that won't be for tongkat ali. There is plenty of independent data on that already, and the recent interest in it will likely have some universities and other researchers more interested in doing more studies on it. Our research studies are going to be focused on the patented ingredients we are developing. That's where it is really needed. When we bring out extremely novel new things, that's where the data would be best utilized. We are also going to be publishing papers about analytical chemistry and lab testing data from samples we test across the industry. I honestly think that is the best use of what I have built. Everything out there is bullshit. There is so much fake or impure shit on the market. I can scream that all I want, it won't make the difference I think it should. So us publishing actual research studies in journals about our testing we do, and the results we get, will hopefully get more people to care about this huge issue in the industry right now. How something works is irrelevant if the products you are buying are fake or impure. At the very least the industry needs to prove what they are selling is what they claim in the lab. That has to be step one. Till that happens, nothing else matters in my mind.
