OmegaTAU would be so much better with mixed tocotrienols instead of only α-tocpherol. α-tocpherol depletes other tocotrienols

Where are you guys reading this stuff? Only d-alpha tocopheryl can be labeled Vitamin E with an RDI. It's against FDA regulations to call mixed tocopherols vitamin E. Also, alpha-tocopherol is the most active form in the human body, and the only one that meets human dietary requirements.

https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminE-HealthProfessional/

Naturally occurring vitamin E exists in eight chemical forms (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherol and alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocotrienol) that have varying levels of biological activity [1]. Alpha- (or α-) tocopherol is the only form that is recognized to meet human requirements.
Serum concentrations of vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) depend on the liver, which takes up the nutrient after the various forms are absorbed from the small intestine. The liver preferentially resecretes only alpha-tocopherol via the hepatic alpha-tocopherol transfer protein [1]; the liver metabolizes and excretes the other vitamin E forms [2]. As a result, blood and cellular concentrations of other forms of vitamin E are lower than those of alpha-tocopherol and have been the subjects of less research [3,4].

Could other tocopherols have unique effects that might be useful? Yeah, perhaps. However, the science is not settled on it nearly enough to make sweeping statements like people are. Also, the FDA's current position on it is clear. You can only call alpha-tocopherol vitamin E. I also only see a single study mentioning this depletion of other tocopherols thing, and it is a postulation, not a confirmation.

because an increase in plasma α-tocopherol may deplete other tocopherols that contribute to the overall antioxidant effect of vitamin E.

It's not hard data. It's a proposed possibility. Also, the succinate salt that we use has different effects than the acetate and freeform versions of alpha-tocopherol.
