Thanks for clarifying, I'm relatively uninformed on vitamin E. What are your thoughts on the alpha vs. Mixed tocopherols debate? Is a disbalance in the specific forms something to be genuinely concerned about or just something people say?

I responded to your comment above, but I will expand a bit here. The FDA states that you cannot call anything other than alpha tocopherol vitamin E. That's the only form allowed to be claimed as that vitamin with an RDI. Moreover, that's the most active form in the body, and the succinate salt is the best version of it. Mixed tocopherols are good for stability use, like when they are in fish oil formulas to prevent oxidation of the oils. However, the other tocopherols and tocotrienols are not considered vitamin E, per the FDA. The NIH has a good article on it.

https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminE-HealthProfessional/

Naturally occurring vitamin E exists in eight chemical forms (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherol and alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocotrienol) that have varying levels of biological activity [1]. Alpha- (or α-) tocopherol is the only form that is recognized to meet human requirements.
Serum concentrations of vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) depend on the liver, which takes up the nutrient after the various forms are absorbed from the small intestine. The liver preferentially resecretes only alpha-tocopherol via the hepatic alpha-tocopherol transfer protein [1]; the liver metabolizes and excretes the other vitamin E forms [2]. As a result, blood and cellular concentrations of other forms of vitamin E are lower than those of alpha-tocopherol and have been the subjects of less research [3,4].

So the best form, and the only one legally allowed to be called vitamin E with an RDI, is alpha-tocopherol. The D form is the only active form, so you want it enantiopure. Then the salt it is in maters a lot. The succinate salt of d-alpha tocopherol is the absolute best single form of Vitamin E available.
