Smell of kerosene in the product?

Does the Nigella Sativa 5% capsules generally smell like kerosene and motor oil? I Googled and it's supposed to have a pleasant fruity smell. I bought some from Nootropics Depot and it came with the seal broken / completely missing. I think I should dispose of it and try another? I am paranoid when I try a new supplement.

Thanks. I sent a message to Dawn at support and got back 'this seal can fall off during the packing process or get stuck in the lid when opening the product, causing it to peel open' . Still with the explanation doesn't seem right. I requested a replacement. Ty!

I just looked up the ticket in our system, and see the picture you sent. That would not leave our facility like that. Someone opened that in transit. Since you are in the Netherlands, I bet customs opened it up to inspect it. That would be the only thing that makes sense. There was an induction seal on that when it left our facility. The Netherlands is usually not an issue with customs, though. So that is strange.
