Hi all
Just an FYI- ordered three items
Kava x 1, noopept x 1 and caffeine+l-theanine x 1 a bottle each shipped via DHL on 8th of November this month.
All well and good until it reached customs on the 10th Nov and was held for clearence event notifications every day with customs physical inspection required until yesterday - when finally to my surprise it said it's been cleared and on its way to delivery..
It arrived today (on a Sunday which is a surprise) and when I opened it .. the Kava was missing. And the others were fine. But haven't been contacted and no letter at all. Aah well, atleast they didn't seize the whole package!
What they were answering

I just spoke to my team, and we have not had any issues with kava to Australia yet. However, we did find this article.

Kava in Australia
The import, advertising and sale of kava in Australia are strictly controlled. Kava is listed as a controlled substance under the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations Act.
Commercial importations of kava are no longer allowed, except for medical or scientific purposes.
Passengers coming into Australia, who are over the age of 18 years, are allowed to bring 4kg of kava without a license or permit, provided it is in their accompanied baggage.
Restrictions in Western Australia and the Northern Territory mean that kava cannot be brought into these jurisdictions.
The Australian Government's Budget 2020-21 included measures to increase consumer access to kava and are due to be implemented by 2021.9
So it seems there are some restrictions. However, then it says this.
The Australian Government will implement a second phase of the pilot program to increase the amount of kava allowed to be imported in Australia.
This measure will allow the commercial importation of kava by December 2021.
So I guess it will be allowed in 3 days time? Why the hell would a customs agent remove something when they know it is about to be allowed in a matter of days?!?
