The last time I purchased it, it seemed much less potent, less effective, and the natural odor was diminished. And not just from ND. I also previously got some from a competitor, a large, well-known vendor (from whom I bought other products many times in past years before I discovered ND) I actually sent angry emails to their office. It did not have a distinctive smell, and it seemed much weaker. I wonder if this is an industry-wide issue as there are probably less manufacturers (maybe only major one left?)

Our adrafinil has been made in the same lab using the same synthesis methods and precursors for years. Unless you are referring to adrafinil from many years ago, it's been the same for a while. The color and smell is not associated with purity. Generally, the specific synthesis method and final recrystallization step will determine that. It's a function of crystal structure and polymorphs. If you still have some of that batch from the other vendor, you can mail me a sample and I will run it through the lab.
