Is tongkat effective if not taken consistently?

A lot of posts say take for thirty days, or cycle, but I struggle to take it consistently since I get nausea taking without breakfast an often skip breakfast, and I don't take it later in case it effects sleep.
I usually feel quite good when I take it, but I wonder if I'm missing out on some kind of longer term buildup effect.

It has acute effects, but also effects that build up as well. Everyone is different. What works best for one person might not for another. Some people use it for short-term boosts. Some do short cycles of 5 days on 2 days off. Some do longer cycles of a few months on and a couple weeks off. Then some others just take daily consistently. You really kind of need to listen to your own body to determine what is the right answer for you.
I assume you are taking our 2%? That one seems to cause more nausea than the 10%. If the nausea is bothering you, perhaps try the other standardization.
