Is this price temporarily? If not, since when did Piracetam's price rise 50% its original price? I remember it wasn't that long since it used to cost around $60... Maybe the last time I saw it for around $65?

Man, that's horrible to hear. I don't know, but maybe it's increasingly worth setting up production facilities outside the US? (But you've no doubt already considered it...)

We've already done it. We have a synthesis facility in the EU, and and planning on expanding it into a full finished goods production site eventually. It just takes a lot of time to work through something as complex as setting up a whole new facility remotely. We've only recently been allowed to travel to the EU, and I just have not had the time yet. I am going to fly out there after the holidays, though.
The other thing we are doing is trying to setup a synthesis lab here in the US. We'll still be beholden to price changes in precursors, but we will be better able to weather things that way. Again, it's just a complex thing to set up. It will take time, and things are super expensive right now. We are doing a lab expansion and the prices are 50-100% more than a year ago. We need the expansion to happen, though. So we are going through with it. Those increased costs mean we have to prioritize things more carefully. It will happen. It just will take a bit longer.
