Question about the D3/K2 tablets and calcium

I am supposed to take 500mg of calcium citrate 2-3x a day. I'm told that taking vitamin D at the same time as my calcium is ideal for absorption. Would it be best to break my d3/k2 tablet in half and take one half with each dose of calcium?

You just need adequate plasma levels of D3 to ensure proper calcium absorption. They don't need to be in the small intestine at the same time. This means regularly taking D3/K2 in the AM will be sufficient to ensure your calcium absorbs. You don't need to break them and take them at the same time as the calcium.
