Difference between free shipping and 2 day Fedex?

I used to buy from Nootropics depot many years ago and was under the assumption that the free shipping option was still going through USPS. So I've been paying the $10 Fedex 2-3 day shipping option since USPS doesn't deliver to my current address (UPS and Fedex do). Recently I came across a post on here that said that the free option now is Fedex 2-3 day. My orders are always over $50 btw. Am I missing something here? Have I paid shipping several times for something I could've gotten for free? Thanks for any info on this :)

Yes, the free shipping is FedEx 2 Day. It says it on every product page. It also says it in the bar at the top of the page. Are you not seeing those?
It also says: "Congratulations! You've unlocked free FedEx 2-3 Day shipping on your order over $50!" at the top once your cart has enough in it.
I tested it on a few browsers and devices. If you are not seeing them, let me know. We might have to troubleshoot if you are not.
