Animal (Lanolin) or Plant Source of Vitamin D3?

Just wondering if the D3 in the D3/K2 tablets is derived form lanolin, or plant based? As it is not specified, I had just assumed lanolin, or perhaps another animal product source, but I thought I would ask to be sure!

Plant-based D3 is insanely expensive at the moment. We are talking 5X the price in most cases. It's hard to justify. We did look into it when deciding on bringing out our D3/K2. However, we decided to give people an option that was very well priced first. We might do plant-based at some point in the future, if we can make the numbers work.
