Why are the labels so sticky

Every time I buy from this site the pill bottles come with labels like nothing I've seen anywhere else. If my fingers are moist at all, they stick! What is the dillio with that?

My team personally licks each and every label before leaving the facility. We feel it gives it that je ne sais quoi that people expect.
LOL, no I talked about it in that linked thread from a month ago. The polymer/UV coating is the reason for that. What we are considering in the short term is having different shrink bands made that will tear more sideways at the top of the bottle/jar. Then it would be easier to leave the shrink band on the body of the bottle/jar, almost as a lamination layer.
