D3/K2 Tablets from NootropicsDepot. Too much vitamin d?

I recently wanted to purchase some D3/K2 tablets from ND when I realized that the tablets contain 5.000 IUs of vitamin D3 which seemed quite high to me.
It is much more than the daily recommended dose so I was wondering if there is a risk for vitamin d toxicity with daily prolonged use especially for someone who is already in the standard vitamin d range?
The science does not seem to agree on the optimal vitamin d levels in the human body and also the daily upper limit with vitamin d supplementation.
Maybe ND or someone with a lot of knowledge on vitamin D3 can shed some light on this matter?

The original studies for RDI of Vit-D were tremendously flawed and way too low.
That said high doses of Vit-D can be troublesome, too.
I think ND hits the right amount, but I can't check until I'm back on my computer.
They should add Boron to this. Possibly Mag and Selenium.
Make it well rounded bone support.
Most people get enough calcium in their diets.

We didn't want to make too complex of a stack. Some people just want good forms of D3/K2 for a reasonable price, which is what we targeted with this one.
