Sorry if this has been asked about lately, but I couldn’t find anything on them. I think these had been mentioned a while back as priority ones in the pipeline. u/misteryouaresodumb are you able to provide any update on these or any teasers on anything else being released soon?
Thanks!

D3 and K2 are stable in tablets? Why does every vendor put these in softgels then?

That's just the most common way people do it. However, oils in softgels are much more reactive and susceptible to oxidation. Plus, you can't get the benefit of being able to break them in half to adjust dosage. You can get slightly more absorption in oil, but not by much. Also, some people absorb oil-based vitamin D worse than powdered. Plus, you can take it at the same time as fish oil if you want that effect, and it is even more pronounced that way. The most bioavailable form of D3 is microencapsulated, but the cost doesn't justify it. We toyed with the idea of doing a highly-bioavailable D3 supplement, but it would just be so expensive. Cholocaliferol and MK-7 work great together as a powder, so we decided to go the opposite direction and make a very competitively priced product instead. Sometimes the best course of action is to do a solid lower-cost product instead of a crazy high priced one for only minor increases in bioavailability.
