Dosage opinon for 30:1 mushroom extracts?

Original post in this thread

Hey there. Just got a shipment of Cordyceps, Lion's Mane and Reishi i am eager to implement into my daily routine along with some homemade Psilocybin caps. Add in a pinch of Niacin and I have myself a mushroom megastack lol. Magicstack even? :)

Now, I read many recommendations, and dosages seem to vary immensely from person to person and it is of course dependant on the quality of the product, so I am having trouble with deciding how to dose out my stack.

The Extract is 30:1, which seems pretty high since I mostly see people talking about 8:1 or maybe 10:1 extracts. 30:1 should be three times more concentrated , therefore requiring smaller dosages, right ? However, the label reads that typical dosage would be 1-2g per day, or even higher (same goes for all three - Cordyceps, Lion's Mane and Reishi). Considering what I read on this sub, this seemed to me a bit too much if the extract is really 30:1, what do you think? I was thinking 500mg daily of each would be more appropriate, especially when stacking with other mushrooms.

So, I was thinking of making my daily stack like this:

\- 100mg cap of ground Psylocibe (Stamets' protocol 5on/2off, rest would be taken daily)

\- 500mg C…

Thanks for a detailed answer, what you said makes sense. Not much info on the bags- just storage suggestions and recommended dosage, which is 1-2g daily. Same for all three mushrooms.

Hope that it's just over inflated marketing, not a completely bogus product, as this is an apparently reliable supplier, that deals mostly in cultivation equipment and supplies and has a very good ebay rating.

At the very least ask for the heavy metals analysis. I doubt they did any testing, though. 1-2 gram dosing means you need very tight heavy metals specs.
