Sarcosine tablets - chewable?

Why are sarcosine tablets chewable on the ND site? Just want to be sure I am not missing something. Can I still just take them like a regular pill? or is chewing required for better bioavailability?

You can take them like a normal tablet. We just put chewable on there so that people knew they COULD chew them if they wanted to. They are big tablets, and some people have trouble swallowing them. If we put chewable, then they know they can chew them before swallowing. Plus, sarcosine doesn't taste bad. It's got a natural sweetness to it, because it is so similar to glycine. You absolutely do not NEED to chew them, though. It's entirely optional.
