Kind of. NAC increases glutathione, so you get similar effects to taking it as an exogenous source.

That's only if you did not take it before starting drinking. As long as you took the NAC before starting drinking, you can take it during as well.

N-acetylcysteine and emoxypine are the two main ones for pre-drinking. I also add in tart cherry now for the uric acid effects. A good B complex and some electrolytes would not hurt, either.
