Mucuna is a really great nootropic when it is correctly made into a supplement. There is some misinformation that floats around whenever it is mentioned on Reddit where people act like it is the pharmaceutical L Dopa, but it is not the same and doesn’t share the same negative effects that L Dopa has.
Yes it contains some L Dopa. The amount in a typical dose of Mucuna is way lower then the amount of pure L Dopa taken in pharmaceutical form.
Nootropics Depot and u/misteryouaresodumb PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE develop a Mucuna Pruriens product. You guys always do it right and it would be profitable and very effective.
TLDR: ND please make a Mucuna Pruriens supplement!

It's one we are still discussing. My main issue is the metabolism to oxidative quinones in the body. This seems to be more of an issue with chronic dosing that acute, but is something that worries me a bit.
