Are Poria's beta-glucans the "good" ones for the immune system?

I'm taking Poria, which is >55% beta-glucans, but I'm wondering if these are the same "β-1,3-glucans with long β-1,6 branches" that u/MisterYouAreSoDumb says are really good for the immune system, or whether my immune system might further benefit from taking ND's yeast extract as well. Does anyone know?

Yes, they modulate the immune system.

We are generalizing a bit, as it is always more complex than we might want it to be. However, poria absolutely does positively affect the immune system. It's just the exact mechanisms that vary. It's a balance as well, since you don't always want to be put into an inflammatory state.
