Does it have higher brain bioavailability as well?
Rhonda Patrick mentions DHA in phospholipid form in that regard.

That's talking more about a metabolite of phospholipid forms, like from krill. That is saying that the metabolite DHA-lysophosphatidylcholine can bypass the issue with tight-junction degradation through active transport. That may be true. I would have to research more. On the greater issue of whether or not phospholipid omega-3 forms are better for the brain, they appear to be so, but only slightly.

However, cerebral DHA concentration increased significantly in mice fed diets with FFA, EE and PL at high fat by 9.1%, 9.1% and 11.0% respectively.
So ethyl ester forms increased DHA by 9.1%, and phospholipid forms increased by 11%. So definitely an increase, but not massively so. I would think the increase in bioavailability from the micelle formulation in Accelon would make up the difference between EE and PL.
