My NAC currently smells pretty terrible. Does it become much less effective once it's been exposed to oxygen? I'm about to place another order, so if need be, I'd like to include it as it's once of my staples. Thanks!

Nope, you'll never be able to significantly oxidize it just from air exposure. It's just the human nose is really good at picking up smells, and can sometimes detect down to the ppb level. So a small amount can smell very strong. We did assay testing to prove it. Even us crushing up the NAC and constantly exposing it to new oxygen for weeks did not lead to a measurable decrease in purity. So normal air exposure is not enough to oxidize it. You need moisture and heat to really get it going.
