Canlabs video of them synthesizing their own peptides.

I'm just going to post this video that was posted sometime ago on the Canlabs facebook page linking to their youtube channel.
I keep seeing people claim on here repeatedly that they are Chinese peptides from alibaba etc. Once in awhile I'll post this link on a comment, but it doesn't seem that well known, so thought I'd make a post for more eyes to see. I don't care where you buy your peptides and have no skin in the game. But hopefully this will help dispel some of the false information out there

Waters UPLC-MS with a time of flight mass spec plumbed in as well. That's good equipment for QC analysis. Seems to be a very small liquid phase peptide synth setup. That's at the University of Montreal, right? I think that is where they claimed they made their stuff. It's bit strange to see shit propped up on cardboard boxes shoved in a small room like that. That is certainly not a sterile environment for production. Seems fine for QC analysis, but was clearly not setup as a production facility. Cardboard is a big no no in a sterile GMP production lab. That is also obviously not their equipment. Nobody would spend half a million dollars on that UPLC-MS with TOF mass spec and have a little liquid phase setup with a small ass lyophilizer that even they claim is their bottleneck. That has to be the university's lab equipment that they are using. Also, if they really are limited by lyophilizing capacity, why not just spend $30K on a production unit from Buchi? Hell, I have one in our lab just sitting here. It seems like they are just making it work with the equipment they can use at the university. That lab clearly was not setup as a sterile production lab. If I were to bet, that's likely an educational lab at University of Montreal Laval campus that they use when they can.
As to the legitimacy of the analysis, or their product quality, I can't say. I have not seen any data from them. I certainly wouldn't inject things into my body if they were made in that non-sterile small space, though.
