Should I be concerned about the temperature in Tempe? (the Tempe-ture?)

I'd like to put in an ND order and just noticed that the temperature in Tempe is forecast to be 100+ every day for the next couple of weeks. I have no doubt ND stores everything at reasonable temps, but I worry about peak or sustained temps in transit. Does Fedex store packages at reasonable temps, and/or move packages out of AZ pretty quickly, and/or are most ND products stable at 100+? Are there particular days that are better to order on, in terms of a package quickly moving out of state?

Ok but how about if we accidentally left it in the mailbox for a few hours? Any products particularly fragile in that regard?

Most things are very stable. There are a few that have low melting points, like pramiracetam and fasoracetam, but we ship those in insulated bubble mailers. Now that our standard shipping is FedEx Express, they don't really sit in mailboxes anymore, either. FedEx delivers to the door most of the time.

I saw California has been going through a heat wave, any chance my order could have been damaged by the heat during shipping?

No, those are all very stable. Also, the packages are always stored in temperature-controlled warehouses. They are not just left outside in the heat. 50*C is also not that hot in chemistry terms. There are only a few thi

Thermal stability if Rhodiola and Ginseng Extracts

You are not going to reach anywhere near the thermal decomposition temps of those products in a mailbox for a few days. At 35*C, it would take 20 days to reduce salidroside by 10% in a solution with a pH of 6. Salidrosid

The humidity would be the one that would cause the most issues. They are probably fine, as long as they have not hardened into an unusable form. The ones I would be concerned about in that environment would be pramiracet

"Melted" pramiracetam from Nootropics Depot. Should I throw it away?

Replying to Bierak · Do you know of another supplement with low melting point?

Fasoracetam is 57*C, which is 134*F. Regular alpha lipoic acid is 60*C, or 140*F. Our Na-R-ALA has a much higher melting point. That's actually a good way to tell the difference between normal ALA and the sodium salt. Na
