Why such a huge difference in pricing for Agmatine capsule vs powder?

25$ for 30g encapsulated VS 18$ for 125g loose powder seems like a huge difference to me. There isn't such a big difference for other products I buy.
You pay 38% more for 76% less quantity...
Why? I hate dealing with powders, but the price difference is gonna force me to on this one :(

Are you planning to do this for Agmatine only? Any plan to make larger qty for other stuffs like cordyceps or lions mane?

We are just discussing agmatine at the moment. Every product will have differing situations regarding how much fixed costs affect pricing per dose. Generally this will only be an issue with products that have a lower raw material cost. Things with high raw material cost will not scale as well, since the raw material in each capsule/tablet/softgel will increase the cost more on a % basis. We also have to balance lots of other factors customers don't often think about, and we don't want that size to just sit on the shelf. We are actually getting rid of the larger sizes of some of our products, as people just don't buy them. If people don't buy them, then those units sit for too long. Sometimes an individual customer might think a larger size is a good idea, but none of our other customers feel the same way, and only a handful of people might buy that size a month. We try to balance things out as much as we can, and I do keep slow sellers on the shelf longer than most business owners would. However, sometime we have to just cut a size because of low sales eventually.
I will take everyone's suggestions into account, though. So if there are specific sizes of certain products customers might want us to add, just let me know. Then I can bring it up with the team to see if it makes sense.
