Turkey Tail caused joint pain?
Original post in this thread

So, I had an odd reaction to taking turkey tail. I noticed that I had some mild, constant joint pain that started after I started taking turkey tail. I continued taking it for a few weeks. After I quit taking it, the random joint pain went away. Anyone else have a similar issue, or know why this may have happened?
I have a bottle of the Immune Defense too, but I haven't tried taking it yet since it also contains turkey tail and I'm worried about having a similar side effect from it...
Edit: Worth noting- I've taken black hoof, white jelly, and cordyceps from ND before as well as a Genius brand mushroom blend and did not have this side effect.

I think it was just limited to my joints, yeah. I had no idea what tart cherry extract was but just looked it up. Maybe I'll have to try that. How long would you recommended trying it for to see if it helps? Is it something I'd be able to notice working pretty quickly?
Perhaps I'll try Immune Defense to see what my body does and then add a tart cherry extract if needed.

You will notice a good tart cherry extract within an hour or so. I get uric acid buildup in my joints, too. Tart cherry eliminates it quickly.
