Hello everyone,
I have recently switched from genuine health's omega 3 supplements to the Omega-3 Fish Oil Triple Strength 1000mg Softgel Capsules, and for the first time I have been consistently having fish burps in the following hours after taking a capsule on an empty stomach. It never happenned with Genuine Health's. This is the first time I feel like I may have gotten an inferior product from Nootropics Depot. Am I wrong to think that? Could the conditions it was stored during shipping have degraded it?

Nice, I hope they'll be out when I finish my 4 bottles. But do I really NEED extra food / oil? I mean, I don't mind the fish burps as long as it doesn't mean the product doesn't work as good.

No, you don't need the extra food. The fish oil will absorb without anything. It might absorb slightly more with a fatty meal, but not insanely so. The ethyl ester forms they are in with our products release more slowly over time anyway.
