A lot of kava extracts have been deemed unsafe by the kava community, due to unfavorable amounts of the alkaloids responsible for some of the negative side effects(such as dermatitis/ichthyosis)

How do you plan on mitigating that risk and ensuring the extracts are safe?

Exactly how we do it with everything we sell: properly administered analytical testing. QC is just as much about testing for the lack of certain things as it is testing for the presence of the ones we want.

We have found that total kavalactone percentage is a poor indicator of kava quality. We tested a lot of kava over the past 2 years. Some of them were 70% kavalactones. There was almost no correlation to total kavalactone
