Issue with empty Longvida capsules

Hello, I'm an avid Nootropics Depot customer, swearing by the brand and buying everything from here if possible, for the quality if not for the price.
I've noticed something weird about Longvida I ordered not too long ago, however. The inside of the bottle was very grittily and powdery when I first opened it, as if some of the capsules were broken and the powder has escaped. This turned out to be true that when I found at least 5 to 6 empty capsules when I'm not even half-way through the bottle. Those capsules had a tiny corner broken, and apparently the Longvida powder has leaked out of them after being capsuled.
Again, this has never happened with any other supplements from ND, and the quality of Longvida from ND is superb compared to other sources, as I can tell from how it helps my wrist pain. It's just that Longvida (and only Longvida so far as I found out) has multiple capsules broken inside. It's not the biggest dealbreaker, but at the same time Longvida is not the cheapest supplement, so I'm feeling a bit of reservation and want to see if there could be some improvement coming.

Sorry about that! We actually tried a new vegetable capsule material on a Longvida batch a while back. They were a starch-based capsule rather than the normal methylcellulose. Well it turns out those starch capsules are extra brittle. Not sure if it is how dry it is here in Arizona, or if that is just an inherent property of that capsule material. We moved back to methylcellulose right away, but I do remember we had some Longvida with those caps. I thought we were totally out, but perhaps we had a few stragglers.
It also might just be the SLCP is making the methylcellulose capsules brittle as well, and we need to switch to a thicker capsule material. We had to do that with magnesium glycinate, as the encapsulation machines were breaking the capsules because of how the powder acted in side them. If you send me your lot number, I can investigate it.
What's your order number? We will just send you a replacement bottle. We'll get you taken care of.
